Share some sunshine this June - Repair with a Purpose campaign supporting EACH

Last chance to share some very special sunshine in Suffolk & Norfolk!

For every job booked in June 2026, Mr Misty is donating £2 to East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices to support families throughout the region. Mr Misty has decided to extend its ‘Repair with a Purpose’ initiative, supporting this amazing charity as a result of the strong positive response from customers and the local community.

With the warmer weather kicking in, June is usually the time to open windows a little wider and slide back those patio doors - and notice all those little niggles, from stiff locks to sticky window hinges.

Mr Misty's enterprising intiative was originally launched to coincide with Random Acts of Kindness Day in February. It committed to donating £2 from every window repairs or door repairs job booked during the first quarter of 2026 to East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH).

It wasn't long until donations were backdated to 1st January. Then, with the idea generating significant support and awareness for the charity, Mr Misty was quickly prompted to extend the offer until the end of June 2026, to raise even more for local families in need.

Supporting a cause dear to all our hearts

The response to ‘Repair with a Purpose’ has been fantastic," said Joshua Sheppard, Managing Director and founder of Mr Misty. "Our customers like the idea that something as simple as booking a repair can also make a meaningful difference. East Anglia's Children's Hospice a local charity that's dear to all our hearts.

Between January and April, we were able to donate £1216 to EACH. And it's because of that customer support that we’ve decided to extend the campaign until the end of June, so we can share even more sunshine, raising even more for East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices and the valuable work they do.”

Customers who book a window or door repair, or a new installation with Mr Misty during the extended campaign period will continue to contribute to the fundraising effort automatically, at no extra cost.

Joshua Sheppard added, “This campaign shows the power of community. Every repair job we complete not only helps keep homes safe and secure, but now also helps support families facing incredibly difficult circumstances. Extending the campaign felt like the natural next step.”

Making a really meaningful difference

Anna Bruce, Senior Corporate Fundraiser for EACH said: ‘We are so pleased to have the support from Mr Misty with this initiative. East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH) rely heavily on donations and support from the public due to us only receiving around 15% of our funding from statutory sources.

It has been amazing to work with the team at Mr Misty on this campaign and everyone at EACH is so grateful to have them as a corporate partner.’

Book your repairs in now - so we can support EACH

Mr Misty hopes that in the last June weeks of the initiative will make an even more meaningful difference - especially as it is the time of year that we open up the windows and doors to enjoy the air and bring the summery outdoors in... and possibly discover a need to give the windows and doors of your home a little TLC.

Don't delay - book in your repair in the month of June and  - even if repairs are not actioned until next month - you'll be sharing a ray or two of June sunshine where it really matters. With our £2 donation to EACH per repair booking received, you’ll be showing you care and sharing some Suffolk sunshine in more ways than one!
